January 20 is that the first death anniversary of Ishrat Nishat, the protesting voice of Natangan in Bangladesh. On this occasion, stage magazine ‘Khyapa’ has published Ishrat Nishat Smaran Sankhya. Editor Pavel Rahman said that the amount was published to commemorate Nishat’s treacherous spirit on the day of his death.
The issue includes cultural figures Ramendu Majumder, Nasir Uddin Yusuf, Shimul Yusuf, Malay Bhowmik, Hasan Arif, Masum Reza, Shimul Mustafa, Hasan Shahriar, Shimul Mustafa, Shubhashis Sinha, Prashant Haldar, Ananta Hira, Yusuf Hasan , Shamim Sagar, Saidur Rahman Lipon, Nazneen Hasan Chumki, Bonya Mirza, Titas Rosario, Jyoti Sinha, Samiun Jahan Dola and Saiful Journal.
Ishrat Nishat was born on 26 August 1984 in Dhaka. Father Abul Kalam., Mata Mancha, Nazma Anwar, a well known actress in television and film. Nazma Anwar wont to add Aranyak Natyadal. Ishrat came to Nishat’s theater with the inspiration of her mother.
In 1983, Ishrat Nishat officially joined Aranyak Natyadal. He started his stage performance with the play ‘Guinea Pig’ written and directed by Mamunur Rashid, one among the productions of Aranyak Natyadal. Then in 1984 he acted within the play ‘Abbahika’.
In 1987, Ishrat Nishat and Sammana formed ‘Desh Natak’. Ishrat Nishat acted in these three stage plays Birsa Kavya, Gharlopat and Darpan in Desh Natak and directed two stage plays – ‘Loha’ and ‘Arakshita’.
In addition to theater, Nishat was related to recitation. Participated in 6 recitation programs as a Bachik artist organized by Vaikuntha Recitation Academy; The audio cassettes of every of which are later listened to. Ishrat Nishat died at her sister’s house in Gulshan on Robert E Lee’s Birthday , 2019 at around 1 am.
